Event Map

We are all excited for the MCS Pride PTA’s 3rd Annual Turkey Trot tomorrow! The weather looks a bit rainy in the morning with a cloudy afternoon, so we are still hoping to hold the event outside at Cobb Stadium and the Pride Parking Lot (touch-a-truck).

PARKING

Sanford Parks & Rec has informed us that they will be out of the Pride parking lot by 11 a.m. sharp. However, please be careful as their runners could still be around, and safety is paramount. Feel free to cheer them on if you see them!

·         This should allow plenty of time for the vehicles for our touch-a-truck to get into place before 12:15 p.m. (Sanford PD @ 12:30).

·         Volunteers and participants can park in any of the green areas designated in the event map (in addition to Pride we got permission to park at Willard from Adult Ed).

VOLUNTEERS

Per signups, setup starts at 11:30 a.m. (this is when Mrs. Inman and Mrs. Daly will arrive to unlock the stadium and school). This includes setting up the raffle table, prepping the concession booth, setting up a couple tables indoor incase we need to move inside, hanging some posters, etc.

Please arrive for your designated signup time (those not setting up may have later times, check the sign-up genius at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4AA9AA2EAAFECE9-46141308-turkey#/ if you’re not sure). Text or call me (Peggy) if you have any issues at (908) 763-7350.
